Jan 1st 2015...
Today i was so happy,first day of fresh year, got sometime, opened Facebook thinking at least today i can see many happy posts and pics of my friends with lot of new year wishes.. and to wish them back.I was looking at posts and pics with a smile on face,but suddenly my smile faded and slowly it turned to irritation later to frustration........
It's because i came across a frustrating article(http://scroll.in/article/698006/Rani-Padmini-and-four-other-Hindutva-history-myths-exploded/).....The title of the article itself is so offensive...and the article is completely filled with rubbish.I know i can just ignore that article and move on...But if it's about my religion.. I'm perfectly OK,If it's about my language... OK, I'm fine.If it's about my place,culture,favourite actor etc., I still can tolerate....But It's about my country and it's great history,which is questioning our credibility.I was like WHO THE HELL THIS???? i just felt like screaming HOW??? HOW CAN SOMEBODY WRITE SUCH RUBBISH???AND WORST PART IS....PEOPLE,SO CALLED RESPONSIBLE INDIAN CITIZENS, ARE LIKING AND SHARING THIS BLOODY TRASH.May be I'm over reacting...But i just can't ignore and i can't argue(arguing with a fool proves there are two) so i chose to write.write. I'm a history lover,I just keep reading lot of stuff about it.Especially I'm obsessed about INDIAN HISTORY,cause our history always amuse me with it's wonders and mysteries, and leaves me with a proud feeling of being part of such a great country.
I don't know, I am getting a feeling like people are becoming more and more narrow minded now a days,I'm damn sure there is only a very little part of society who genuinely know and believe the greatness of our motherland.Through such bloody articles like this...What image are we giving about our country to our younger generation and rest of the world????
